Duration: 7:52

During the 18th India was the greatest trading nation in the World, it generated around a third of the World's GDP. This video a brief overview of the start of the British Empire's encroachment on the sub-continent and how the Indian's fought back. Ultimately the British won out, not due their superiority, but largely due to Indian's themselves supporting the British (due to their petty arguments with each other and not seeing the bigger picture), which first started in Bengal at the so-called Battle of Plassey, which was not a battle, but a betrayal. Although many of the Princes of India were too busy arguing with each other, there was a man who saw the danger, he was Tipu Sultan, for his story see my other videos.

Jun 14, 2011 - The British royals are the BIGGEST slime bags; in case you've not notice America is their current 'prize' being taken down.

Dec 11, 2011 - Tipu would never have been defeated, if his general Mir Sadiq did not defect and betray him in the battle. Mir Sadiq watered the gunpowder stock of Tipu, paid the wages of soldiers and dismissed them from duty. When Tipu's army went out on the battlefield to fight, he also closed the gates of Tipu's garrison. Why dont these documentaries mention any of this? The colonialists would have had no chance and suffered even more humiliating defeats.
